www.thecure.com/Here's where you can hear the first song off of the new album...their 13th. They'll be releasing singles the 13th of every month leading up to the new album with B-sides.

I'm looking forward to hearing the album. The Cure is one band that I gradually got more into as I got older and have a far greater appreciation for now.

Their album "Bloodflowers" from about 8 years ago is one of my favorite albums of all time. There are so many awesome tracks off that. I especially loved "Watching Me Fall."

Is the album called The 13th? Because it needs to be.

That's an interesting strategy for the singles. I'm interested to see how it turns out. I really have to start listening to more of their prime material to further my delayed appreciation.

It's alright, it reminds me a lot of "High". Good for me, because that's probably my favorite Cure song and was also the first one I ever heard.

Here's the link to the official video: [ftp]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og_VoeTFzyY[/ftp] Man, Robert Smith doesn't age. He looks exactly the way he did in 1987! HAHAHAHA! I really like the song, and I am very excited for the new album. I didn't start listening to The Cure until after high school, and they have slowly become one of my favorite bands of all time. I would love to see them in Dallas this Friday but the tickets are pretty high and I am brooooooke!

This song took a bit to grow on me but its really starting to make an impression. It definitely has that old Cure feeling.

I feel weird having that stuff around on Pulse still, when I haven't even put my weekly charts in there in over a couple of years. And for the record, I still like every one of those songs (except for maybe Rod Stewart's cover of "Your Song," which I'm sure I'd think is dull and unnecessary if I ever heard it again.) I've actually been able to get mp3s of the more obscure songs on there in the past couple of years, so that's been pretty exciting.

Gimme a break. If R.E.M. could go Top 20, so could this.

The Cure really haven't done anything to impress me this decade. I own most of their catalogue, but the 2004 album leaves me blank.
