Dear Casey,
Two Thousand Seven was certainly a big year for my little family. You see, my son Woody is not only my son, but a best friend. And in 2007, I was so happy for him as he married the girl of his dreams. It was the first marriage for the both of them. Woody is 35. Angie is 30. They found one another 3 summers ago, and the rest is history. But that's not all. Last August Casey, I married the most wonderful man. I had been badly hurt in two previous marriages by verbally abusive men, and I had given up on ever finding anyone that I could trust. Then, I met Billy. The special song that I would like to dedicate is "I Can Love You Like That". When my husband heard it, he said it reminded him of me, and he wanted it to be his promise to me. Now every time we hear it, we stop what we're doing and remember how things were & truly appreciate how things are now: for all of us.
