Finally listened to it. I like it, but not as much as "Game Of Love".

It does sound a lot like "The Game of Love," but I still like it, it's real catchy and it's officially been stuck in my head for 2 days now. I hope it does well, I'm thinking a peak in the #12-15 range, maybe a similar run to "Goodbye to You."

Wow Santana isn't even trying anymore is he. This is TGOL part 2. Terribly boring

I agree with the review above. This is just way too safe and not super appealing to me.

No contest; this is a most conservative Santana single.
Nonetheless, I believe this is much more likely to hit than not hit, despite Michelle Branch's recent dwindling star power, who I believe is still strong enough to carry a single.
This very much has that "90's sound" as well, which has proven to be a winning formula this year. (By 90's sound I mean that sound which is very catchy but not idiosyncratic catchy like in the 80's)
Nickelback have proven you can hit re-cycling or re-mashing your big hit, which "Someday" did just that, being built by the scrap metal of "How You Remind Me".
The difference here, however, is that Nickelback benefitted greatly because "Someday" were buoyed off of a hit six-times platinum breakthrough.
This is Santana's second album since his epic comeback, not his first, and seeing how "Shaman" only went double platinum, a far cry from the diamond status of "Supernatural", there isn't the same intensity of willingness to promote or milk the album for all it's worth.
Still, this has the sound of your typical adult contemporary hit, and it is likely bound to tear up both the Hot AC and AC charts, and that will carry this single somewhere.
My Prediction: #14
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

The more I listen to it the more I feel this won't be a hit. It has a bigger chance of becoming a hit in the US than in Europe.

Personally, I do think that foreign charts do hold some importance...but I also see how this board specifically focuses on America because it is held on an American POP forum following American pop stations.

I heard KissFM's "New Music First" sweeper, and it took me all of five seconds to figure out what song this was. Sounds a little too much like "The Game Of Love", to be quite honest, but it's great to hear my girl Michelle on the radio again and the song's better than a lot of the other crap on the radio right now. Should be a good fall song, and I don't see any reason why this shouldn't go Top 15 at least.

Great to see this song go top 50. For awhile there I thought it was going to flop. :/

I was going to say this won't have too much of a problem being top 40 by the end of the week, but then I realized that the Holiday and How To Deal songs are still going to have one more week.
But still with how fast it is taking off, I could see it coming really close (atleast) to #40 by sunday.

It's going to need to pick up some more stations or that gain is going to go down pretty soon.

It's a bit odd how they have Jessica Harp tucked in there like some weirdly angled back-up singer.

Yeah, the video is too weird. They should have just put Michelle there. Nobody will know who that blond shadow is.

This has sort of a 90s country vibe to it...it reminds me of LeAnn Rimes's "One Way Ticket (Because I Can)."
I like it...it's a great song for the fall season.[/font]
