I'm kind of surprised this is the lead single from Santana's album since it sounds like a watered down version of "The Game Of Love". They just shot the video. www.onthetrain.net/santana/

Sounds pretty good! I hope it can do well.

Interesting... Interesting... I guess it'll be a bonus track on The Wreckers album, and kinda get them out there. I hope it's a hit. It should at least do well on Hot AC/AC.

This is pretty boring. Im surprised it was chosen for a single-sounds like an above average album track to me (not filler, but not a single)

It sounds more like a second or third single to me... but I definately like it.

I didn't think this would be the 1st single. I don't think it will do so well on pop. Top40 yes but beyond that I don't know.

With Michelle Branch again? I don't know about this move. Santana usually likes to collaborate with up and coming artists like he did with Michelle and Alex Band two years ago, and Rob Thomas back in 99.
If he did any collaboration again with anyone he should have had interest in Rob Thomas, that would probably be a summer Top 5, everyone loved Smooth.
Rather than Michelle he should have a collaboration with John Mayer, Ryan Cabrera, Kelly Clarkson, or Avril Lavigne. or even better for both of their careers, a revamped Christina Aguilera.
Or even better, maybe Kanye West or Andre 3000. Hip-Hop is realy starting to hit some stale times right now.

There was a song with Mary J. Blige and Big Boi of OutKast that was written by Rob Thomas that was going to be the first single, but with Mary releasing a new single over the summer, they canned that idea.

Well, the Wreckers are *kind* of a new artist since it's not just Michelle. I wanna hear the song but I'll wait for the mp3/radio.

Surprised he went back to Michelle. Her latest stuff wasn't exactly chart topping

I personally think they should stick with the Blige/Big Boi/Thomas collaboration as the lead single. Mary J. Blige has fallen into a recent single slump as it is. All of the singles from her past album crashed and burned. Besides that, she has released singles before while simultaneously being featured on other artist's tracks. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

So many he could have done something with and which could potentially also be good and which will get people interested. Avril and Santana or Christina and Santana...Noone would have seen that coming and that will spark intrest.

Actually Mary is probably the most successful artist on his entire album. Her "flop" album yielded two Top 10 urban hits. She recently did a song for a mix tape and there was so much interest in it that it made the Hot 100. She's never had two singles that she sang lead on out at the same time though and I think that would be an awful idea.

I'm not really liking the clip I heard of that song.. and the song with Uncle Cracker is not much better if you ask me. I'm still looking forward to the album but I don't have high expectations anymore about it..

It's ok the first couple seconds, but it gets so repetitive.
It's better than The Game of Love, anyway.

Jessica Harp does backing vocals on this too, but I guess they thought it would attract people more if it just said Michelle Branch. lol

:o What a freakin smash!! I LOVE it. "The Game of Love" is one of my favorite songs of all time...so this may not top that one for me at the end of the day, but this sounds so good. Michelle and Santana make magic together.

I'm not looking forward to this at all. "The Game Of Love" still gets on my nerves and it's not even like Michelle has any star pull anymore to help Santana out. Why is she on the lead single again? :(
ETA: I've listened to the song now. It's not bad, but it really does sound like GOL clone. I miss the Supernatural days.
