°(LDD) You'll Be in My Heart - Phil Collins
Dear Casey,
It's always been my wish to write you & dedicate a song on an anniversary or a birthday (something to be really happy for). But unfortunately, now I'm left to pick up the pieces with my family after the sudden death of a loved one. The night my grandmother died was one of the longest nights I've ever endured. My family was either on the phone telling relatives of the news, or opening the next box of tissues to spill their tears onto. Somehow, I was just lost that night, but I know that the spirit of my grandmother helped me find my way back. Grandmother or "Boobie" as I called her was an extraordinary human being. She was truly my hero. Even as I write you this letter, I feel like she's in the next room watching my words flow onto the computer screen. I know she cherished my family dearly. So, I just knew I had to do something extra for her. So Casey (in her honor), could you please play "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins and dedicate it to my grandmother Anita Freeman. The song reminds me that my grandmother will be there through countless memories in all of our hearts now and forever more. Thank you Casey.
Sincerely,
Adam
