BOY needs to pick up better if it's going to do anything, just my opinion. BTW, as for the next single, who knows, but Walk Away is getting about 70 spins or so. Just for comparison, here's how Kelly's last 3 singles were doing on Pop the Friday before they went for adds: 84 78 KELLY CLARKSON Breakaway 2004 Walt Disney Records 181 110 71 1.012 182 64 KELLY CLARKSON Since U Been Gone 2004 RCA/RMG 293 10 283 6.348 53 45 KELLY CLARKSON Behind These Hazel E... 2004 RCA/RMG 862 601 261 8.972 And here are BOY's current stats: 61 52 KELLY CLARKSON Because Of You 2004 RCA/RMG 428 273 155 8.545 It's off to a significantly better pre-impact start than either Breakaway or SUBG, and although it's behind where BTHE was in terms of spins and position, it's nearly there in terms of audience (BOY is already #35 in terms of audience on the Pop chart). As for Walk Away, it currently has 40 spins on Pop, and all of them are coming from one station in Atlanta. |

She sang it a few places before the Breakaway Tour. Thats probably why it was doing good. I personally think BOY is doing amazing, and i cant wait to watch it grow. |

Atlanta/Georgia loves Kelly. I think at one point both pop stations I listen to had SUBG AND BTHE in the top 5...and before that SUBG and BA.
I havent heard BOY or Walk Away yet though.

Whoa, this could be better than BTHE... looks like Kelly is hoping for an acting career. She's mentioned in several interviews that she's not interested in doing acting right now. She says she's much more behind the scenes when it comes to stuff like that. (She's written several screenplays) Judging from the footage on the screen when she sings BOY on tour, it looks like this will be a very artistic video. The clips kind of remind me of the "Best of You" video by the Foo Fighters. |

I don't think Kelly would've gone with anybody else's concept for a video. This is such a personal song, no one else really has a right to come up with the concept.

Has Vadim Perelman directed any music video before? I really liked HOSAF and am really looking forward to the BOY video now...
Its great that Kelly's chosen a fresh, lesser-known director and not the often-used Navas, Kahns, Mullers and Myers! LOL :)
