Some felt that "Take A Bow" was a weaker offering from Rihanna and I guess the DJs in clubland shared that same sentiment.

Some of the mixes didn't have that many vocals so they could be thought of as a "sample track" They probably played those. I never heard the remixes out. I usually heard the clean version of the original or the Robyn one.

What always cracks me up is seeing the likes of Yoko Ono and Cyndi Lauper still seemingly dominating the Clubs. The term "beating a dead horse" comes to mind. Really, really sad. But truly, we all know that this isn't a true representation of clubs in America. The true chart would be mostly hip hop. Now THAT would be sad!

but doesnt hip hop have its own chart? i mean this is DANCE club play...

While some DJs are into the vocal mixes of the Ono songs, the dubbish/instrumental ones are probably getting most of the play. Though I have heard and read some DJs' complaints about the Ono tracks. Some wondered about who is actually playing them since they definitely won't. But the same really could be said about pretty much any song. Everybody doesn't love every single song

Yes, but its based on sales and combined airplay from Rhythmic and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop stations.
