Hmm not a good bullet...:( And if the Raconteurs' "Many Shades of Black," Atmosphere's "You," and Scars on Broadway's "They Say" hadn't been prematurely and arbitrarily made recurrents, Anberlin would still be down at #53.

I love "Breaking" on their new album. I think this album is at least as good as the last one, which is great to me.
I also think Haight St would be a good single. It's really catchy.

13 ANBERLIN NEW SURRENDER 36,130 999 115 35,092
I'm not sure whether or not to be glad at the total. It's an improvement over Cities, yes, but that was to be expected considering this is their major-label debut.
"Feel Good Drag", on the other hand, is coming along nicely:
43 34 ANBERLIN The Feel Good Drag 368 310 58 1.143
Fairly consistent bullet that's slowly increasing.

I wish people would stop saying they are a "Christian rock band". They have said that they are not and don't want to be considered that. That's going to turn people off who don't know what their music is about or have never heard it.

That's going to turn people off who don't know what their music is about or have never heard it. Maybe you're right, but there are so many bands out there with Christian undertones that are phenomenally awesome, I doubt it matters much anymore. A short list off the top of my head: 12 Stones, Skillet, P.O.D., Pillar, Project 86, Showbread, Thousand Foot Krutch, Day Of Fire, Fireflight, Underoath, The Almost, Kutless, Switchfoot, Relient K, Blindside, Disciple, Red, Mainstay, and Sanctus Real. Some of those are more overt than others, but they all have a large quantity of songs for the mainstream audience in addition to ones that reference their faith. Even Head's solo album works both ways for the most part. I think religious influence is pretty much par the course for most bands nowadays anyway.

I'm Not Alright was awesome as was their entire Face of Love album. Who knows, maybe alternative will give them a chance sometime down the road. I don't know why Kutless hasn't already had a few hits on here, their last two albums have had tons of hit potential. The jury's still out on him for me, I remember when Evanescence, Chevelle, and more recently Paramore were all considered as Christian artists. Head's music just bothers me for some reason.

Not sure why it would. If you like Korn, I'd think it'd be up your alley. If you don't like Korn, well, then, there you go. But to me it just feels like a lost Korn album, musically and vocally as well, except the lyrics are a lot more positive.
