Sirius xm have done this since last year. There’s been at least one occasion since that doc came out where I’ve heard an R. Kelly song being played on the Pop2Kountdown (a countdown I heard around this time last year, they actually played “Fiesta”), but aside from that, yeah, the decade stations haven’t been playing his music. At least one of the R&B/Hip-Hop stations still play him tho.

I guess due to the fact that xmfan turned into a shop for XM radios that this thread also is doing 60s and 70s in addition to 80s 90s and 2000s. Yes, they shut down their message boards a month or two ago. They must have a boycott of R.Kelly in effect. Sirius xm have done this since last year. Both the 90s and the 2000s countdowns skip over his songs. The difference is, the 90s countdown will acknowledge the songs while the 2000s countdown will not. It does annoy me that they will skip R Kelly songs but they continue to play Chris Brown. He's done some pretty bad things too, but somehow he gets away with it, and fans still love him.

What is this '90s countdown going on on channel 30? It claims to be the top 500 or something of the '90s, but I heard "Tears in Heaven" today in like the mid-90s, and at some point "How Do I Live" was well below that position. I can't think of any methodology that results in these placements. They are counting down the top 500 of the 1990s then the channel will revert back to The Prince Channel. My question was more how they came up with that top 500 as a lot of the placements don't align with any Hot 100 countdown of the 90s I've seen.
