1995 show was a rare brand-new chart.
And even though 1984 is due, I'm glad we're getting 1985 because the 3/10/84 chart was done twice in the last three years, while the entire month of March 1985 has only ever been played twice in ten years.

And another strange thing, Sirius XM did not omit the Christmas extras given how they deleted certain songs from the February, 10th 1979 and episodes of pop 2k's countdown.

I don't recognize the first two songs of the 1983 chart this week. Both songs spent only two weeks in the top 40 at those peak positions. (same with Jefferson Starship's "Winds of Change"). Damn shame too, I thought they were really good.

The chart will likely be March 28th, 1987 If they do, it'll be the 3rd time in the last 4 years that they've featured that chart. I don't know why they couldn't have just gone with 1984.

Not that they couldn't, but they rarely feature consecutive years, and even more rarely play three consecutive years. So an 85-83-84 combo was unlikely, even though I totally agree about the 1987 repeats being tiresome. Next week, we could see a one-week reprieve from the 90s repeat pattern. That's because the next show from the 2020 schedule was 3/30/91, while next Saturday's date is closer to the 3/23 chart.

I could only find one instance where they repeated the chart for March 28, 1987. Hope they do 1984 the next week.
