Kinda interesting how the 60's countdown goes beyond the Top 40 and slips in random stuff from elsewhere on the charts. All the others should do that.

I’d also love to see the 90s & 00s shows go from 30 to 40 songs so we can hear the great and/or forgotten hits that topped out in the 31-40 range.

I'm not so sure about earlier years, but in later years Casey would skip an entire verse and chorus of songs going down the chart for time reasons.

wonder how many times the 80's on 8 did the exact same chart the AT40 replay did last week. It happens more often than you'd hope. Most of the time they play the same chart on the same week, other times it's like this.

This week’s Big 40 Countdown, from April 11th, 1981… yeah, seriously. I hope you all were able to catch last week’s AT40 show like I did lol. What made this additionally annoying is that they'd played the 4/11 chart three years ago, while they've never touched the 4/18 chart. When I heard that the 90s show was a special, I wondered at first if this might somehow upset their two-years-ago repeat pattern. But of course it will do no such thing. It turns out that two years ago they played the 4/17/93 chart followed by the 4/29/95 chart. So, to keep the pattern going they had to slip in a special somewhere. At least we'll get a short reprieve from the pattern next week.

Yup... I noticed it. It's not the first time Pop2K has played him in the banned era.

Yup... I noticed it. It's not the first time Pop2K has played him in the banned era. They first started playing only his featured songs. I noticed it on the last 2004 episode. This week's episode was the first time I heardpop2k play an R Kelly song in five years.
