I feel like they just did 94 recently. Last they did ‘94 was the weekend of July 30th, just 6 weeks ago. Pretty recent, yeah, especially since both ‘90 & ‘91 haven’t been played in a while and the hits came & went much faster in those years.

Since September 13 1986 was done, this means we will get Sept 20, 1980 next week. Great… back to back repeats from last year. Also, if anyone else remembers, this happened with 1981 and 1987 (Sept 12, 1987 and Sept 15, 1981) and in the same exact weeks from 2015-2017.

This week’s Big 40 Countdown, from September 13th, 1986 (another repeat from last year lol): Wow, I didn't even have to remove that last line from my quote lol If they go with 1980 that would be the same chart used last year too. The chart they used last year was from 9/20, and since next week’s show will airing on Friday 9/16, it’ll be borderline (tho given the chart they went with this week, it could definitely happen again).

I feel like they just did 94 recently. 1992 and 1994 seem to get played a lot more than all of the other years.

They said on 80s today that this week would be 1988. We will see tonight at seven o'clock Mountain time. If I remember they postponed 1980 last April. There must have been enough people not wanting to hear another repeat from last year. Now if the 1990s and 2000s shows will mix it up a little better.

I think it was Alan Hunter who said it. He also said he prefers later years on the countdown as opposed to earlier years because the end of the decade was "more eclectic" whereas the beginning of the decade had "too much country and disco."

90s this week is 1996 (may or may not be another 2020 repeat, tbd) P2K this week is apparently a special (according to the SXM website) of the Top 30 OHWs of the 00s
