I wonder if anybody can remember all the chart dates featured on the big 40 since they permanently switched to billboard in 2012? All this talk about repeats on the other flashback shows got me wondering? I can put something together going back to 2012, unless there are other takers. I’m obsessed with these yearly countdowns so I’ve pretty much memorized what they have done since then.

Here was the order starting in 2012 for the VJ big 40 on 80s on 8. They didn't start billboard until the weekend of 02/17. I assume they usually go closest with Friday's date which is premiere night. As you can see, the rotation between the different years went pretty smoothly.
