Anyone else notice how only 1985 and 1988 have been switched around while every other year has maintained order. The streak has been like this since Oct of last year when they did Oct 25 1980. It works well in this case because the first two weeks of August 1985 have never been played, and also because 8/6/88 has been done three times and is likely going to be played by Premiere that same weekend.

No complains here. 7/30/88 and 8/6/88 will have now been featured 3 times each. I’m hoping we get 8/3/85 or 8/10/85, which neither have been done. We also really need an August 1980 countdown. August 30, 1980 is the one that has been featured the whole month and that was in 2015.

Despite their mistakes I actually don't like when one of the VJs is missing. It feels weird with so many songs getting no intro since the other 2 VJs don't pick up the slack

Feels like this countdown had one of the least talk breaks in between songs so far to date. I think from 20-14 we didn’t get any commentary from the VJs. If Martha Quinn were still with the VJs, they probably wouldn’t have this issue

1979 is always a good year in music.. but 1974 is way overdue. I’m guessing they will go with 8/10/1974 because 8/3/1974 was featured just a couple years ago

13 18 CHICAGO - I DON’T WANNA LIVE WITHOUT YOUR LOVE*
the Foreigner song "I Don't Want to Live Without You" was played instead
What the hell happened there? Reminds me of a certain butchered Episode of May 7th, 1988 that aired in the first year of the big forty (turn to page 2 of this thread)

1985 this weekend, which I’m looking forward to. Can we please have the vjs go back to announcing the correct charting date for the countdowns. It’s been giving me a headache and wish this would go back to normal

13 18 CHICAGO - I DON’T WANNA LIVE WITHOUT YOUR LOVE*the Foreigner song "I Don't Want to Live Without You" was played instead What the hell happened there? Reminds me of a certain butchered Episode of May 7th, 1988 that aired in the first year of the big forty (turn to page 2 of this thread) It's like a couple months ago when they played the wrong Invisible That is just weird considering they played the chicago song many times before.

1979 is always a good year in music.. but 1974 is way overdue. I’m guessing they will go with 8/10/1974 because 8/3/1974 was featured just a couple years ago Maybe next weekend we may get our wish but the end of 1974 was when we seen huge falls from number one and some songs bouncing all over the place.

Anyone else notice how only 1985 and 1988 have been switched around while every other year has maintained order. The streak has been like this since Oct of last year when they did Oct 25 1980. I don't know what the longest stretch in between mixing up the shows but we would see some sort of reshuffling by now.
