The programmers really need to fix up the vjs big 40 countdowns for each week. Here are some issues I’ve been noticing
Announcing the incorrect chart date, usually they say one date before the actual chart date of the countdown
Certain chart dates they use are almost a week off from when they air. This has happened with 1985 quite a bit
2022- Weekend of Oct 7- they used Oct 12, 1985, not Oct 5? Weekend of Dec 16- they used Dec 21, 1985, not Dec 14? 2023- weekend of May 19- they used May 25, 1985, not May 18? Weekend of Aug 4- they used Aug 10, 1985, not Aug 3?

They always default to the week after now never the week before even if it's within a day like this weeks chart

I’ll be shocked if they don’t go with 1974 this weekend, that year is almost 5 months overdue.

Next week, it'll be all about 1980! (should've been this week but ok)
Something went goofy with the schedule.
If this schedule holds we shall hear 1986 then the top 40 hits from Labor Day of 1982.

If this schedule holds we shall hear 1986 then the top 40 hits from Labor Day of 1982. Unfortunately, the first weekend of September 1982 was played last year. We might have avoided this repeat without the 1988 double shot.

This week’s Back in the Day Replay, from August 19th 1995, is a repeat from two years ago: You left out the best part. The previous 1995 show, which was a mere four weeks ago, was *also* a repeat from two years ago. Honestly, I don't think I could do a worse job picking these charts if I tried.
