I wonder if Pop2k is doing their special countdown they did the past few years. I forgot to mention that last week, but they are! Some sort of boy band-themed countdown…

I think they could've given some play to other boybands a bit more obscure than play 3 BSB and N sync songs. (Boyz II Men had a pop hit in 2000, also Dream Street and Plus One could've been options).

This week’s Back in the Day Replay is from November 4th, 1995 (just 5 weeks after they last played ’95 AND it’s a repeat from 2021) It was the 4th appearance of 11/4/95 on the show. 1995 seems to be their favorite year to play. I get the sense it comes up far more frequently than all other years, with 1992 being close behind. 1996 and 1999 seem to come up the least often.

I notice 93 and 95 come up the most. 96, 99 and 90 are the least.

I notice 93 and 95 come up the most. 96, 99 and 90 are the least. It seems like the 80s on 8 has the most linear and consistent when it comes to playing a particular year. The other flashback shows it can be from three weeks to twenty three weeks in between one times a particular year is featured. It is not just the 90s but the 60s and 70s and 2000s too.

am gonna bet it will be 1989 or 1981 next week. Apparently it was the 1989 intro bumper they played (I didn't notice, I was mentally checked out then), so it might be '89 next week. I really hope it isn't, I was hoping they'd hold out until the weekend of the 25th.

November 9, 1984 should be announced November 10, 1984. I wish they can change this soon.

AT40 this week is 1970! P2K this week is 2006 Apparently they aired the 10-31-70 countdown. Some say it was actually 10-24. I didn't hear so I don't know but it should've been 11-7

Over on the 90s they're doing 1999 but they seem to have messed up the order 98 Degrees I Do was #1 when it should have been #21. i like it more than Smooth which should have been #1 but still it is not accurate .

Lol so they countdown 17 to 2 which are really 16 to 1. Then they announce #1 incorrectly as I Do by 98 degrees
