is BJ Thomas banned or something? his songs are always skipped over on the Casey 70's countdown.

So they skipped BJ Thomas, this may mean they could start skipping Diddy when he comes up for the 90s and 2K.

So they skipped BJ Thomas, this may mean they could start skipping Diddy when he comes up for the 90s and 2K. idk why they skipped B.J., the AT40 shows that air on SXM are chopped & edited like shit sometimes or it could've been a Turtles-like situation over royalties that's since been resolved, but they're not banning his music. They've played him on the 60s Survey & other AT40 shows with no problems before. ...and honestly, as awful as Diddy is as a person (and somewhat as an artist tbh) I hope he doesn't get banned and the quicker they bring the Turtles & R. Kelly back, the better.

No living acts on this week's 50s chart :( Ed Ames of the Ames Brothers was the last one and he died last year.

I doubt any one is still alive in this weeks fabulous fifties flashback. i could be wrong but i would guess that very few or no chart artist before 1955 are still alive.Pat Boone who debuted that year is still alive.

Ugh we just had 87
Seems like they wanted to avoid back to back years so they were stuck with 80, 89 or 87

At this rate we may get April 18th or 25th 1987 which may or may not be a rerun. I think both choices were played in the past. The 80s is beginning to !look like the other flashback shows where some years are being featured too much while others are not featured for months. I'm thinking the song turnover is great through most of the 80s. Most hits don't last more than three.months on the chart.
