Quoted from Laura on the big 80s on 8 forum, which i do not have access to- Do any of you think sending a master list of every show date from last year to their program director or whoever will help prevent them from repeating dates from last year?

We need something other than Feb 13, Feb 20, Mar 12 or 19 1988 Each have been done at least twice. Why not February 27, March 5 or March 26, at least if we aren’t going to get any airings from January 1988?

That would only be 8 weeks after last playing 88 so I'd say early March. Remember too last year they did that weird president's weekend special which I assume we won't get this year

1/4/92 was a fourth-time repeat, and was played last year, meaning we're on a new perpetual repeat cycle. Making this worse is the fact that four of the next five 1992 charts have never been touched in 12 years. Remember too last year they did that weird president's weekend special which I assume we won't get this year I forgot all about this, but it may explain why there were so many repeats in the second half of 2023. You have 52 weeks in a year and last year we had the special one week and an extra 1988 show another week. Discount those two weeks and you get a cycle where there are exactly 50 weeks of regular shows. And since each year pops up roughly every 10 weeks, the result is a bunch of repeats from August forward.

Right and after 87 we should get 84 (unless they do 81 first), which would be a week sooner than they did it last year and 1980 would be done mid March rather than late March thus avoiding a repeat of last year. Feb could lead off with 86 and 89

I have a feeling they are going to go with Jan 17, 1987 and announce it as the Jan 16th chart tonight. I’m not counting on anything else unless they start making some changes.

Might be ideal for to go with 1981 next week and I bet they will go with 1/31/81 which would be a brand new chart aired in a month.
I don’t know if they’ll switch things up again anytime soon, let alone another Presidents’ Day countdown to back things up. February 1983 and 1986 has been underplayed so I strongly think those two years will air next month.
