Wow its really picking up. I like this song alot, but I agree with some, its not nearly as catchy as SUBG was. But I can see this making Top 10, beating Incomplete's peak now.

This song is so much better than SUBG. Honestly. If it weren't for the low album sales, I'd say this would be a guarenteed late summer smash hit.

I agree that it's catchy, but at the same time its boring and generic to me. This is far from the quality of SUBG, IMO.

I don't find it as catchy as SUBG. Why would the BSB accept a song that's exactly the same as Kelly Clarkson's hit? Can't they hear the resemblance? "Behind These Hazel Eyes" has the same production feel as SUBG, but it sounds fresh.
Still, I hope the song does well.

I also think it's ironic that, after BSB had talked about how they had wanted to "take a break" from Max Martin because he was parceling the same sound out to multiple artists and only got back with him after seeing his change in style, that this is a complete ripoff of a single less than a year old. This sounds tons more like Kelly Clarkson than any of their other hits sounded like *NSYNC or Britney Spears.
I also agree that they won't do as well as SUBG - Kelly is one or radio's darlings right now. BSB had their time as one of those awhile back. I'd say don't throw good money after bad, but if SonyBMG didn't have Spitzer on their asses; i'd see this replacing Frankie J as a CD Preview favorite and pulling the stops to at least make it break a million. Never Gone is doing *much* better worldwide, though. If this single doesn't break over here, I doubt there'll be another one.

Being a rip-off of a huge song will be good for them. I honestly think it will go top 5 eventually.

I kind of think that if this had been done by a solo male artist and not "The Backstreet Boys" it would chart higher.
I mean Kelly did it with SUBG with the layered vocals. I think the "BSB" moniker might turn some people off from the song.

Worst song ever.
SUBG is 100,000,000,000 times better.

I definately think it will go top 20, but beyond that is really up in the air. Incomplete went top 10, but not without a lot of help (see: Preview, CD). If the album sales start going back up noticeably with the song I can see them getting some buzz back and having that help the song. The fact that there doesn't seem to be a lot coming up behind it could also help it. Right now I'm going to say #15 or #16. But what do I know.

BACKSTREET BOYS Just Want You to Know Producer(s): Max Martin, Lukasz Gottwald Writer(s): M. Martin, L. Gottwald Publisher(s): Maratone/ Zomba/Kasz, ASCAP Genre: POP Label/Catalog Number: Jive/Zomba (CD cut) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: August 07, 2005
Who would have expected the Backstreet Boys to score a full-blown comeback with "Incomplete"—not just a polite return, but a second swipe at world domination. And with a ballad, at that. "Just Want You to Know," the second single from the wholly satisfying platinum set "Never Gone," only tops the sundae with a cherry. It is an uptempo song in much the same vein as Kelly Clarkson's pop/rock anthem "Since U Been Gone," with flypaper hooks from enduring musical maestro Max Martin. This guitar-octane perspirer proves that BSB has plenty of ammunition left in its arsenal. In a word: hit. In two words: global smash. —Chuck Taylor

Global smash I can believe since they are so popular globally but it is harder to predict on how they will do in the US.

This song is doing good.... Where do you think it will peak? I hope and expect that callout will bring this song home into the Top 5. We shall see though....lots of great pop songs battling for radio spins right now. This one is my favorite though.

This song is alright, but I think Crawling Back to You is better than this one. I think CBTY would had made a better second single.

This is still holding on to a relatively strong bullet , it should go Top20 . Hopefully "Climbing The Walls" will be the next single

No, I think "Crawling back to you" should be the 3rd single followed by "Climbing the Walls."

No, I think "Crawling back to you" should be the 3rd single followed by "Climbing the Walls." Yes that sounds good , since it would mean that there'd actually be a 4th single .
