^Why do you say that? It's a great song. I just don't see the greatness in it. I can usually tolerate songs that kill someone off ("You Can Let Go"), but the deaths in "It's Not Supposed to Go Like That" just seem contrived and gratuitous.

Yeah, I think you're being kind there. :) A friend and I listen to it sometimes just to laugh at how absurdly ridiculous it is. I didn't like Bob That Head at all, but I'd definitely prefer that to It's Not Supposed To Go Like That. I'd guess this would be the final single of the SFG era, especially given the rumors that a new album was close.

I like Here--- but No Reins is clearly the best song on the album-- and it is a shame if they don't release it. I jog to it everyday in my ipod--- it is inspirational and amazing.

I 100% agree. the song has a good message, but they could done a heck of a better job with the lyrics of the verses. That is my 2nd least favorite on the album (next to "Head") and if that gets released i will be furious. if Rascal Flatts goes another single deep after "Here", although i doubt they will, they need to go with "No Reins", "Secret Smile", or "Still Feels Good". Everything else on the album is just meh.

I think the best song on this album is "Alone" and it is on the bonus disc so it will not be a single. The thing about downloading this album and putting it on my ipod was that the bonus disc was classified as rock when it downloaded while the main disc was classified as country. That was funny because I find the bonus tracks as being much more country.

I'm going to take a guess here and assume you meant "I Can Almost," since that is indeed the best song off the bonus track CD. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbzeNDSXwioIs that it?

DANG! Why wouldnt they put that on the record? I like Garys voice when its restrained like that.... not to mention , it was an actual country song. I DO like "It's Not Supposed to Go Like That" as well. Sure , its over the top , but what the hell, I have something for morbidly sad tunes. It and Winner was the only two I could stomach though. Thats actually a fairly high ratio where a RF disc is concerned though.

If they release one more, I'd say:
1. No Reins 2. Still Feels Good 3. Secret Smile 4. It's Not Supposed To Go Like That

It was just sent last week, maybe they just assume that radio will play it and that would mean it's impacting now.

Not only did it download as being rock but it also listed all the song titles wrong. That shows how much I listen to it since I had not noticed that before. That is not the song I was talking about but it is ok. My favorite is Lonesome Road.

Ok, in that case, for those of you who haven't heard "Lonesome Road," you can listen to it here. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tZObEEoWZ4

finally a decent single from them. although i would have prefered "no reins" or "secrect smile" much more, but i'll take what i can get. and also i still don't understand why they aren't putting any of SFG's hits on their greatest hits package????

Either a new studio CD or a GH CD to be released in the spring would seem to be next for them.
If we do get a GH CD from them in 2009, that would mean a new studio CD in 2010 (duh!!)

also i still don't understand why they aren't putting any of SFG's hits on their greatest hits package???? My guess is that they plan to release more from SFG and want all the hits from that album to be on the same greatest hits album. The one they're releasing in October is titled GH volume 1, which hints a volume 2 will evenually be released. I don't expect to see it anytime soon seeing as how they waited 8 years to release their first one.

Bleah. What's there to like about this song? It's just bland Rascal Flattsness. At least "Bob That Head" was something new for them.

I thought RF were releasing new songs on the GH. Christmas songs for the Xmas holiday.
You know those will probably be able to go at least top 20 on country

Actually as already pointed out the GH CD is being released in October with no new songs and no songs from SFG on it. It will have 4 Christmas songs on it which should be enough for Rascal Flatts fanbase like myself to go buy it. The reason why they don't have any songs from SFG on it is because they are still promoting the album SFG so they wouldn't want to hurt its sales anymore than they already have done by releasing "Everyday" (which I liked but didn't do anything to sell the album even when they promoted it) and "BTH" (which was a horrible single choice if you want to sell albums).

Releasing a GH CD with no new singles on it makes no sense whatsoever, so Tim McGraw now has some company.
Tim has now done it twice as of October 7th; does that make him TWICE as insane as these guys are?
