I usually like Neptunes and Gwen stuff, but this song is quite boring... there's nothing new or fresh about it.

This isn't catchy at all for me.
I really tried to give it 4 or 5 listens and find something I liked about it, but I couldn't.
Maybe I'm missing something, but this is downright bad to me.

man y'all must be listening to the wrong song. this is totally smokin' hot! the only thing wrong with it is some of pharrell's lines arent that great, but that beat absolutely kicks ass. radio needs a bass heavy club song to play. gwen sounds fantastic on this, she sounds so non-chalant. reminds me a bit of 'hella good' with that bass. and that old-skool part after the first chorus, i LOVE it!

It's got a great beat, but it just goes nowhere. The beat sounds like a Chemical Brothers song.

I hope that this and "Luxurious" both flop to show Gwen that we really do like her Pop/Rock songs more than her trying to be Urban. Otherwise, her next studio album is going to sound completely beat driven and the "next" No Doubt album may never even happen. Hmm, I like the point you're making but I like the songs. Of course I'd love it if Gwen stays true to her Pop/Rock roots but I don't think I'd go as far as to wish them to flop. I kinda hope she'll do more dance songs and definitely continue with pop and rock.

this is pretty catchy. I like it... not love it, but like it.
The radio station I work at has the weekly adds disc, and on the disc it's called "Can I Have It Like That"

I thought Pharell and Gwen Stefani would make a better song together than this, this is just blah! Nothing creative, it's very repetitive.

You and this board may like her Pop/Rock songs but its pretty clear that the general public doesn't. I mean look at WYWF and Cool, both of them underperformed while "RG" and "HBG" were MASSIVE in Airplay AND Downloads. So I think that maybe the public likes her Urban/Pop stuff more than her Pop/Rock stuff.

Gwen's five words is not gonna make or break any fans with this one anyway guys. Any damn woman could get on this track and show this talent. It was a waste for her name on the song title, and that's just about it. We can't judge musical preferences for Gwen's fans just because this may be a HG payback to Pharrell for some play on the Pop format.
Luxurious is a much more evident example. This song looks like its about to flop anyway.

How does it look like it's going to flop? It's starting off good to me.
I don't really think that Gwen cares if this flops or not because she's had 2 huge hits from this album plus it's the fifth single.

Actually alot of younger people will remember her for Hollaback Girl lol. And its her only #1 so yeah. And Tragic Kingdom is just one album lol LAMB is already the 2nd best selling and sales are down so w/e.

If there was a single out for "Don't Speak," it would have probably spent triple the time "Hollaback Girl" spent at #1. It broke the airplay record for most weeks at #1 at the time. "Hollaback Girl" didn't even hit #1 in airplay. ...and I don't get the just one album thing... isn't L.A.M.B. just one album?

The radio station I work at has the weekly adds disc, and on the disc it's called "Can I Have It Like That" The station my brother works at has those. I forgot what they're called though. One disc is like broken up into 4 different genres. They're pretty cool. As for this song, It's just not catching on to me. they should've gave Gwen a verse to sing.

HBG had no longevity... it's not going to be played 10 years from now the way "Don't Speak" is being played. Those songs were only big in airplay because there are more Urban stations out there now.
