Dear Casey,
I'm currently serving a 9 year sentence in the Texas prison system & have served 91 months with 17 to go. I'm blessed that my sentence will be over in 2010. However, my being incarcerated has hurt many of those who I love & has taken time and memories from them that I can never replace. Casey, I think the ones most hurt by this are my 2 sons: Rod(is now 15) & Paul(is 13). My hope is to dedicate a song for me to them. The song is "Wind Beneath My Wings". I chose your show because I've been listening to you since I myself was a child. I'm now 38. I'm sure you received many requests, but I hope and pray that my sons will hear this & know how much they are loved and missed & how my memory of them is what keeps me going. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jessie
