Its seem radio station dont give a thing about her anymore. I think she comes across as too gimmicky... she needs to tone down her schtick.

If you want to know if its doing well on radio you check mediabase, and she is at # 24 on Pop radio station.

Just saw the full clip- love it! Pink is very cool- she has that attitude, that gusto like one of her inspirations. :)

Well, I was referring to Madge with my comment. ;) But, I can see why someone would think of Eminem, as he's poked fun at other stars- some found it funny, I'm sure.

I don't care if this stalls at Pop. Its already become a huge hit on the Hot 100 and that is the only chart that really matters.

I can think of so many cases that would refute that I think Pink needs a solid radio hit to truly get her career back on track. If SG stalls and falls and then no other singles get good airplay...her cd will be a flop whether SG went high on billboard for one week or not. (However, I dont think her singles will flop at all-Im just saying if they did)

How is SG performing at CHR/Pop compared to Trouble? That's the barometer to be looking at, me thinks.

Well, I know Trouble peaked @ #17 for 2 wks. then dropped like a rock. It did all that in only 8 wks. I think Stupid Girls should beat that.

Like pop matters.... no one cares about the chart, just you People that don't follow music as much as we do just care about the Hot100 and that's, what I think, is the one that media uses when talk about #1s and all.

Thats not the point. Radio=people knowing the song=people buying the cd=matters more than a #13 on billboard. No one will know or care that she peaked top 20 on billboard if none of her songs get played.

Billboard= people knowing the song People buying the cd= Billboard Hot100 This is just a buzz single to begin with

Billboard= people knowing the song People buying the cd= Billboard Hot100 This is just a buzz single to begin with Not the general public. One week of high downloads because of hype causing a decent peak on billboard is nothing in the grand scheme of things if the song dies before going top 20 anywhere and has no longevity. Obviously, both would be ideal, but the cd will NOT sell well in the long run if she does not get a solid hit, whether the billboard peaks are decent or not.

Was that directed at me? ??? To anyone that thinks that the Pop is like the most important chart. No one said that-Im saying that its important to get a solid hit in your format. Lifehouse's song got a great billboard peak just because of initial downloads from fans-but the cd BOMBED. THen the song became a hit on RADIO and the cd sold decently considering who they are. Radio is important. 8

Solid hit doesn't mean that you'll have great sales :)

Yeah, but no hit pretty much guarantees you wont. (note-I said pretty much-very few artists can sell substantially with no airplay) Do you really think Pink will go 2-3 times platinum on the strength of a #13 on billboard because radio doesnt matter at all?

Well we will never be able to test it, but I think you are a tad crazy if you think she will sell 3 million cds if SG dies now and none of her other songs get a single spin just because SG went to #13 for one week And I say that with love ;)
