Oh well isn't the hot 100 the most important? and if it say does go top ten, could 24 go up? Nope... The Hot 100's been a second rate chart ever since the record companies started phasing out the single in the early 90's... Billboard still hasn't figured out how to get album sales into the equation... if they did so, the chart would be INFINITELY more accurate... I rarely even look at the Hot 100... too many biases on it to make it meaningful today... R&R is the "industry's newspaper"... Billboard is 2nd rate in the industries eyes... even their most accurate chart (the Top 200 album chart) is VERY flawed... they refused to chart an album that sold over 2 million copies recently because it was only available at Wal-Mart... Pink's song is wearing quick on me already... don't even know if it's going to crack my personal top 30...

And ROFL at your comment about R&R being the industys newspaper, Billboard is clearly still atop.

Yeah, while I think the Hot 100 can be biased at times, like it or not, it is still the main chart of importance. No one cares about having a #1 on Radio and Records or Mediabase. Bragging rights go to the #1 on the Hot 100

Like pop matters.... no one cares about the chart, just you People that don't follow music as much as we do just care about the Hot100 and that's, what I think, is the one that media uses when talk about #1s and all. Actually, record labels will take a number one from any source and any format just to say a song went to #1. I know that on Blaque's 1st album the sticker says "The Number One hit 'Bring It all To Me'" but it only topped the Rhythmic Top 40 chart @ Billboard and I think R&R's CHR/Rhythmic chart too.

^Just like Kelly C. herself. They describe every single from Breakaway as a #1 hit on the commercials when none of them went #1 on hot 100.

The song has really slowed down over the past few days. This is not looking good right now. Could this be an "American Life" for Pink?

I am doubting this will go top 20 now...or will just peak inside top 20. However, like everyone else said, this was probably more of a hype single and they will gun for a top 5 with the next single.

Guys, please stop with all this pessimism. I don't think anyone ever pictured the song debuting as high as 13. On radio, yes it's not doing as amazingly, but hey, it's doing well enough. When you say this will be like American Life, I hope you mean the single! Pink's new album will be fine. I have this feeling it'll sell well. Stupid Girls has done what it needs to do, in that it has told the world Pink is back. SO many people know about the Stupid Girls single. Love or Hate it. So when she comes out with something even better (U and Ur Hand or Long Way To Happy, oh the potencial this album has!) everyone will be feeling great about it. She'll release something so much better than Stupid Girls, it'll really have alot of people syked.

Yes, I don't get why everyone is whining either. Whatever it does on Pop radio is nice, but its already reached #13 on the Hot 100, which I think is pretty good for Pink coming off of a flop. Like Mariah came back from her flops with the #16 It's Like That, I wouldnt be suprised if the next Pink single pulls a WBT (maybe not as succesful as WBT, but becomes big)

Well she could easily bounce back with Who Knew, Long Way To Happy, or even You And Your Hand. I just hope radio is ready and willing.

Like Mariah came back from her flops with the #16 It's Like That, I wouldnt be suprised if the next Pink single pulls a WBT (maybe not as succesful as WBT, but becomes big) Pointing out the fact that it has dropped from a bullet of over a thousand to under 400 in a short time period is not "whining" or "pessimism" Its pointing out a recorded fact and intrepreting it to mean (to us) that its a little concerning that she has still not gotten an actual radio hit...and actual radio hits will be what fuels album sales... And most of us are saying that her second single will probably have more of a chance, so I still fail to see how we are being overly whiney or pessimistic about it...

She just needs to release LWTH or UAUH next and she'll get a huge radio hit.

I know P!nk's a big star, but do you know how many artists out there would KILL to have a bullet of nearly 400. Even Madonna doesn't have that big of a bullet and she's Madonna, the queen of popular music.

Its not even that Pink is a big star-collapsing from over 1000 to under 400 within a few days is bad no matter who you are (for the song) "killing" for a huge bullet is different for every artist. A new pop rock band starting out staying steady at +400 for a few weeks would be amazing and wonderful. A big artist desperately needing a comeback hit losing over half its bullet within a week is concerning. Its all relative and to Pink, this does not spell great things for SG. I would say the same for any artist in her place. If Christina's new single collapses from 1000 plus to under 400 in a week or something, rest assured that everyone would not only be screaming flop, but would also be screaming that her career is over. I think its great that everyone is saying that her next single will be a great hit-people DO have faith in Pink and her music. Just not SG (for the song and for the bullet slowing down drastically)

I don't think this is completely unexpected though. The label probably figured it wouldn't be a huge hit at radio. If the next single is out before the CD release, it gives people a chance to hear two new Pink tracks, hopefully helping to increase sales.

if another artists song dropped frpm 1000 to 400, it wouldn't spell the end of their career. it's pink. she'll be fine. another single and it'll all be good!

^The bullet's peak was around 890. I could have sworn that at least for a week it was above 1,000-or at least over 900.
