During the 1980 TV Actors Strike and 1981 TV Writers Strike, Casey Kasem's old American Top 40 was still active. In 1988 during another TV Writers Strike AT40 with Casey Kasem soon to be replaced by Shadoe Stevens by late Summer and Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 were still active. But will a 2007 indefinate Writers Guild of America strike affect Top 40 radio countdowns American Top 10 AC/American Top 20 Hot AC with Casey Kasem (AT10 AC will have Christmas shows in November-December), American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest, and/or Rick Dees Weekly Top 40?
I forgot to mention if Hollywood Hamilton's Weekly Top 30 will be affect by a possible WGA Writer's Strike.

I don't think so unless the hosts of those shows are members of the WGA.

I'm all for Seacrest getting pre-empted!

Wasn't Rick Dees a WGA member at one time?
