It's pretty obvious that the next #1 will be Ne-Yo, unless Beyonce has some sort of amazing longevity at the top which i doubt will happen. But after that, it's a complete mystery. Who will be #1 after Ne-Yo (if he gets there?)
Nelly "Grillz"? Natasha Bedienfliedl "Unwritten?" Kelly Clarkson "Walk Away"? Mary J. Blige "Be With You"? Cascada "Everytime We Touch"? Rihinna "SOS"? Pink "Stupid Girls"?
I think Nelly might be able to squeeze in a week or two at #1 after Ne-You, and then after that the next #1 will either be Mary J. Blige or Rihinna. Both songs will eventually go to #1 though. As much as i like Kelly Clarkson, she is showing signs of slowing down with "Walk Away," i doubt this will go to #1. It will probably peak in the top 5 though. Natasha Bedienfield has no chance of peaking at #1. She will probably peak around #6 or #7. Cascada is the wild card in this race, because it's already surprising that it's made it this far and it's bullet keeps on growing. I think radio might resort to this if Mary J or Rihinna somehow don't end up at #1. I see "Everytime We Touch" peaking at #3, and maybe squeezing a week at #2 or #1 once the Rihinna/Mary J. Blige hype dies down. As for Pink, It's still too early to tell what will happen with "Stupid Girls," it could still totally flop or even end up in the top 3. But so far so good.

Here are my predictions in order: 1. Ne-Yo 2. Kelly 3. Gwen 4. Rihanna
I think Cascada will burn out soon because I can't see a dance song at #1, even though it'd be cool. I also think Mary J. will peak top 5, close to #1 but noth there yet. Kelly and Natasha are close in spins but radio will choose Kelly because 1) it's her 2) the Grammys 3)Unwritten is getting old. That leaves Gwen which is almost top 20 and James. Crash is a grower and doesn't sound like a flop AT ALL, so I think radio stations will put it in high rotation soon and James will most likely just make top 10, maybe top 5. Rihanna will go #1, I have no doubt about that. SOS is the best new pop song out right now IMO. ;)

I think the #1 after Ne-Yo is going to be Kelly! Though I'd love Natasha to get a few weeks in, unlike Kelly, she doesn't have the highest support from the rhythmic-leaning stations, unlike the Rhythmic/Urban+Kelly stations. I just hope Nelly does not get #1 and I don't think he will, Pop still has some taste left. After Kelly it is between Mary J. Blige and Rihanna, I'd rather see Rihanna personally, "SOS" is awesome and that is coming from me, someone who roots for the Hot AC songs. Cascada and Gwen will be lucky to make the top 5, Gwen is already down to +406 and she won't have a video (I think?). Don't forget about Nickelback! I think this one will go at least top 3 and with their amazing longetivity with their singles it could easily slip into #1 with little notice.

Nelly will not get #1 mainly because I believe the HAC-leaning stations will not let it happen. The song is way too urban to go #1 here IMO. Top 5 - sure.
I have a feeling Kelly may run out of gas in the top 5 before hitting #1.

Natasha could go #1. She has the biggest bullet in the top ten and gained 100 spins over the last day, meaning her bullet could increase to over +700 shortly.

It worries me to see Ne-Yo's bullet sliding but he should still be the next #1 after Beyonce. I don't think "Unwritten" will be #1, that would mean it would be getting massive overplay and I don't see that happening to a song by Natasha Bedingfield but that doesn't seem to be the case at the moment anyway. I have a feeling "Walk Away" will lose steam as it approaches the top 5. I think the next #1 after Ne-Yo (assuming he gets there) will be either "SOS" or "Be Without You" but not both.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if "Unwritten" made it to the top. Its bullet has been steady for a while and as of late has begun picking up. It seems that usually when a song has a steady bullet for a while that accelerates once it hits the lower reaches of the Top 10 it often goes to #1.
