how many weeks is Kelly looking at now?? is this her song with the most weeks on the Pop chart?? No, I believe that honor goes to either Breakaway or SUBG. Go Natasha Bedingfield!!! I wish this song would go to #1, but a top 3 showing will be good enough! If Beyonce falls fast enough, she could do it!

Actually, BTHE has more wks. on the chart than Breakaway. BTHE has 30 wks. while Breakaway has 29. But SUBG is in the lead with 31 wks. on the chart. I'm not sure how many wks. BOY has been on.

Poor Fall Out Boy. They were sitting at #3 a few days ago and now they're at #5. Does anyone know if they managed to sit in the top 3 for the final update?
Glad to see Ne-Yo and Mary J. Blige closing in on the top spot. I mean, I like Beyonce and the song and all. It's just been there long enough. And I'm ready to see a new #1.
It sucks Nelly lost his bullet already. But at least he's only -42. Hopefully he has a slow-ass fall down the chart.
Saving Jane still having no bullet. Let's pray they don't fall down the chart real fast.

Sean Paul has sure been enjoying some single chart longevity despite lukewarm album sales. While "Temperature" has the second largest gains on the chart, "We Be Burning" only has a net weekly loss of -24. How "Geek In The Pink" has so far bested "Ever The Same" here, I'll never know! Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" is looking all prepared to become a runaway hit. Of course I still don't understand what the hold-up was and why he couldn't have exploded last season considering the recent success of Gavin DeGraw and such, but better late than never! Keep an eye out on Morningwood's "Nth Degree". This is one track I'd say could slowly creep up onto the chart out of nowhere like the unsuspecting kudzu vine! LOL! Finally, looks like Rihanna's "S.O.S" will be the first single to make the Top 10 that was officially released this year. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Rob will definitely debut in the Top 40 next week without even an adds date or being on 80% of the format, nice work Atlantic.....

Yeah, I think they were about 9 spins ahead of Natasha for the #3 spot on the final update. Mary J. and Natasha passed them on the first new update for this week. Sean Paul's "We Be Burning" has had an interesting pattern... it's been at #34 for the past three weeks, and if not for the fact that it's going recurrent this week, would likely spend a fourth week there (or even move back up).

And I remember when people thought that it would be gone on the first chart of 2006. Silly people. ;) An aside - does anyone think HIM - Wings of a Butterfly has a shot on pop? I heard bits and pieces, and it sounds like something that pop would play.

Although to varying degrees of success.

It's going to be REALLY close between Beyonce and NeYo this week! I want Bouncy to get her 6th week at #1!

There's no doubt in my mind that Ne-Yo will be #1 by Sunday, barring a huge collapse.

Funny how the Top 3 songs are all Urban right now. Hopefully with Natasha, Kelly, James, and Cascada storming on up, that will change soon. You can count Rihanna in that group as well. Her song isn't urban AT ALL.

I really hope they try releasing Wings Of A Butterfly to CHR , it's long overdue that HIM finally break through in the US.

Nah, I think that one's too dark for American CHR. I don't see HIM having pop appeal here. That kind of stuff only works on Pop in countries with less fragmented radio and charts.

American CHR is too damn biased to play something different. But I really like that song too and i wish it would have Pop success.

Woohoo! Lifehouse gets 1 spin with "The Beginning!" I don't see the big deal over this new Sean Paul song, I've heard it and it is nothing grand, I think I even liked "We Be Burnin'" better, and I couldn't stand that song. Oh great, Chris Brown is now going to have another hit just because "everyone" loved "Run It" so much, the new song is mediocre and so is he. I want the other Chris Brown! "Waiting" deserves to be a big hit!
