New CHR/Pop stations still not reporting AI's!

WPIA (Peoria, IL) & KVPW (Visalia-Tulare) are still not reporting Audience #'s since they crossed over to CHR/Pop from I'm assuming CHR/Rhythmic along with some new XM station I believe. They are reporting spins of course (one of the reasons the top songs have reached so high compared to the past) but when will they report AI's? When the stations for Top 40 increased to 139 (or 140 cuz of a new random Xm station too I believe) I could understand not reporting audience yet, but that was like almost 2 months ago now...

How long does it usually take? I thought like pretty much the next week. Now the panel (CHR/Pop) is up another 2 stations to 142. The new stations (maybe cuz they are brand new new?) are reporting audience just fine:

Well, Radio and Records doesn't use Mediabase at all anymore.

Thinkin they're prob indicators, not reporters cause they're markets are so small...indicators don't report A. I.'s at all, and don't think they're data is even used in the BDS or Mediabase charts

BTW still waitin on the new B94/Pittsburgh to start gettin monitored... (why does it take so long?)

Visalia-Tulare-Hanford is a big enough market to not be an indicator market.
B94 Pittsburgh is on the larger panel I posted a link to but not the smaller one. It might not be monitored because it has below a 1.0 rating.

Ah ok thanks guys. Yah they are definately recording the spins, as seen with the jump in spins when they were added. Yes EvanJ I was refering to Mediabase CHR/Pop chart, when they were added they added a spin boost but no AIs...I thought it was just a think that took sometime but its been long enough!

Very interesting about indicators - what purpose do those serve? But yah its definately not an indicator as they were CHR/Rhythmics that switched.

So now my question is, Apologize with the fix this afternoon went up by more than 3 million AI's:
1 1 TIMBALAND/ONEREPUBLIC Apologize 10676 10673 3 73.250

Yet between these two stations that needed fixing it only would have increased their audience by 150,900 (.1509). So was there an overall audience fix perhaps beyond these two stations or more stations that maybe I didn't pick up that had faulty audience detections? Either way I'm happy! The #1 song (a few months back) after the overall audience decrease having not even 50 million audience was sad!

WPIA = TERRIBLE radio station.

Also, I can't speak for the Visalia station, but WPIA did not cross over from Rhythmic. The Rhythmic in that market is and always has been WZPW. WPIA was recently added to the panel when Mediabase began monitoring that market.

Oh ok thanks for the info man! I thought it odd to have had two Rhythmic stations in Illinois ??? Now I know lol.

Btw there wasn't just a fix to these two stations, apparently there was an overall radio audience increase across all formats! :o It's still much lower than the audience numbers in the beginning of the year but its a help!

visa-taluria is now recording AI's. 50 or so spins equals like an 0.075 AI or something
