Its so funny with RCA how they are premiering the video a day before MTV announced this world "exclusive". Adding to that, they sent ANOM to iTunes BEFORE its impact date. lol iTunes is the shyt!

I don't think Beyonce is better even if Christina didn't scream. Christina is, of course, on a much higher level artistically.

I don't think Beyonce is better even if Christina didn't scream. Christina is, of course, on a much higher level artistically. Why? Just cause she is pretentious and uses jazz in her songs and oversings? both singers arent very artistic really, theyre very talented and we love them but they aint artistic esp aguilera just cause she has these songs with a jazzy sound and that same damn shade of lipstick and hair

The video is horrid. It has no story behind it. No substance is just boring. She can't dance to save her life. She had like 10 lbs. of makeup, such a cake-face and those fake horrible boobs? Uy! *Missy scream*

LOL we really need good mods or something. Beyonce has NOTHING to do with this song, there is no point in bringing Beyonce up in here. It will just start an argument.

What do you mean by artistic? Please be advised that Christina is an artiste and she uses her creative energies to challenge her audience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Luckie Starchild

The video is alright.
I like the way it starts out... the rest is boring and pointless.

I agree it looks like it came out of the movie "chicago" even tho this song is hot..........and i liked the intro to her new song "I got trouble" The video is horrid. It has no story behind it. No substance is just boring. She can't dance to save her life. She had like 10 lbs. of makeup, such a cake-face and those fake horrible boobs? Uy! *Missy scream*

I'm not impressed by this. I have to wonder also, if the modern-day novelty of this song's sound will cause it to lose steam in the long run. Also, I wonder if this is how the whole (double!) album will sound in general. In modern-day, I could see the style wear very thin very quickly and fall way short of what Stripped accomplished for her career.
I mean, let's face it: most kids today aren't interested in big-band jazz and horns all over their pop songs, because no one's really been doing it for decades now. Will Christina have updated the sound enough (or can it be updated) to make this album an enduring smash hit? I just don't know and kinda doubt it.

But why should she record for what people want to hear? It should be about what comes from within and satisfies her atistically. Too much emphasis is placed on sales in the last 5-10 years to the point where most releases are contrived. Im glad she is at least trying to do something that pasy tribute to the old. One thing ill give her is that she respects older genres of music. Mind you it still sells by the bucket load- and the adults who lsiten to it have more money to spend than the kids. Risks should be taken...and fail or triumph- its better to try.

From a professional point of view, this video is extremely well done. The angles, colors, body movements, everything is perfectly coordinated. Great video She's going in the right path. The song is awesome as well. I truly love it.

She's up to #6 on Z100's playlist. I have a feeling they'll start to bump her into heavy rotation in the next few days... Especially since she's going to be visiting them on Friday morning.
