I'm working on it. It's going to be baby steps this week. I'm listening live right now. I also missed the first hour. Normally, I'd catch up using yes.com, but yes is having problems right now (time-outs and server errors galore). So I'll post the show as I go and, hopefully, fill in hour one a bit later. So far...
(Thanks for the first hour, chbigemi.)

Saving Jane reaches week 20! Officially can be called recurrent once it falls off.
WTF At40 is so behind with Shakira just now reaching #1. I'm glad Sean Paul didn't make #1 though, even when he was supposed to.

Sean Paul did go to #1. He was there for 2 weeks prior to Rihanna. On R&R, Rihanna only spent a single week on top then got booted out for Sean to spend a 3rd non-consecutive week there. On AT40, both songs got 2 each. No, "teh airplay". ;)

Well, good must be a matter of opinion, because I don't consider this chart very good at all. I mean, are "Gold Digger" and "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" EVER gonna fall off the damn chart? They have been descending ever so slowly, and this week, they both hold the same chart positions as last week. What's more, they have been around for 37 weeks. That's more than two thirds of a year. Enough is enough! I think AT40 should do a chart purge like they did in November, 2004. That way, these songs, along with a host of others, would leave the chart and many fresh new songs would debut. Or they should at least have a recurrent rule that drops songs that have been on for more than 30 weeks. This would at least get rid of the two songs mentioned above, along with "Run It". It wouldn't freshen up the chart as much as a chart purge, but it would be something. Anyway, I'm done venting. Hopefully, at least "Gold Digger" will be out of here come next week. I just hope it doesn't move back up into the Top 30 like "With You" by Jessica Simpson back in 2004.

God forbid that "Gold Digger" stays on very much longer.

When I was talking about "Gold Digger" in the last paragraph, I forgot to add something along the lines of "....and stays on the chart for another ten weeks or more". The last thing I'd want is for the song to beat or tie the 50-week record. At least "Here Without You" and "Scars" are halfway decent songs. "Gold Digger" is annoying and obnoxious sounding and I believe that the song is responsible for 90 percent of the violent crimes in North America today.
