Sara Evans - "Shame About That"
I couldn't believe they played this. I was flipping through and I got a country station that isn't one of the three here in town that I'm familiar with, but they played it after Casey James' "Crying On a Suitcase" so it was even more random for them to follow a current Top 20 hit w/ a random flop that peaked at #48 in 1998.

104.5 The Drive (unsure about its call letters) Goo Goo Dolls - Sympathy ^I hear this all the time on the radio ??? On my local stations I've heard: The Warren Brothers- "Where Does It Hurt" & "Move On" Which made me go :o Nobody plays their music. Emerson Drive's entire "Countrified" album... I have no idea how or why that happened but it was at 3 in the morning and I loved every second of it.

Steve Winwood segued into J Cole's "Work Out". "Work Out" is not in any way obscure, but that was one of the oddest back-to-back pairings I've ever heard. I can one-up my post from a year ago here. Same station (WCEM) just played Richard Marx's "Keep Coming Back", which, by itself, deserves a mention in this thread. The song immediately following Richard Marx was "Thrift Shop". :o

I would have flipped out! I love that song and it's so underrated. Her two first albums are so underrated in general.

I heard Samantha Jade's "What You've Done to Me" earlier this week in a Bath & Body Works. I had no idea that I transported to Australia by stepping through those doors.

Today, I heard a nostalgia station play "Till I Loved You" by Barbra Streisand & Don Johnson from 1989. They recorded it while dating each other.

I know to rock/metal fans this song isn't that obscure, but it's NEVER on the radio, so...

In the past hour, I've heard three obscure songs on WWIS:
Hear Me In The Harmony - Harry Connick, Jr (Honestly, I have not heard this song at all since 1996!) What Kind Of Man Would I Be - Chicago (yes, I know it was a Top Five hit, but I can't remember the last time I heard it on the radio outside of countdown shows Eyes That See In The Dark - Kenny Rogers (with the Bee Gees singing back-up).

WRCH in Hartford, CT is doing their annual "80's Flashback Weekend" for the next few days. This tends to feature some big pop/AC hits that aren't commonly played on the radio anymore. As an example, George Michael's "Kissing A Fool" is on as I write this.

I think 94.5 plays a lot of urban music from the 90's and 2000's, because today I heard them play:
Mary J. Blige featuring Eve - Not Today

Maybe not obscure in the normal sense, but last night while cooling off in the pool, I heard this on my local CHR:
Christina Aguilera - Your Body
Nothing like a fall 2012 flop to get your summer on, am I right?

Kylie Minogue - I Should Be So Lucky (103.1, supposed dance station) 112 - Only You (Remix) (94.5, I can finally confirm that this is indeed an urban station in the Orlando area. They play a lot of old school stuff which I like a lot )
