"Bum babababababum!"
That unmistakable guitar riff from this classic from 1976. When I got 1976's R&R charts many years back, I was shocked that this song didn't get past #32. The song was played a lot in the spring or summer of 1976 on the stations I listened to. Probably was just sporadic airplay, since Heart wasn't yet a very well-known group (their follow-up "Magic Man" fared much better, hitting the Top Five later that fall).

My favorite Heart single. What a classic.

My second favorite Heart song (after "Straight On") of their early period.

A classic by itself. I loved the opening guitar solo on that song. The Wilson sisters never sounded so good then during their debut. I also like Magic Man. I wouldn't mind listening to those songs again.

I never cared much for "Magic Man". Except for "Crazy On You", I wasn't too fond of their 70s music. They were a lot better in the mid to late 80s with great songs like "Never", "Alone", "There's The Girl" along with their early 90s music, like "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You", "I Didn't Want To Need You" and "Stranded".

Crazy On You only got to #35 on the Hot 100 in 1976

I like it, but not as much as "Magic Man".
