MIssy Elliott doesn't rap about having hair armpits, and as far as I know doesn't burp in any "songs."

Isn't it good that not all rap lyrical content is the same. Aren't you tired of hearing about how much money they have, their cars, ice, chains, bit*hs, etc?
I think it's about time....

Doctor Luke, are you producing other rap songs too now?

Of course it's good to have things mixed up, but there are different things that could be said other than hairy armpits and burping. Maybe I'm not from the right inbreed state to enjoy thinking about a female with hairy armpits and burping.

See, to me... your close mindedness would say that you are indeed from an inbred state. Actually, your gramatically incorrect use of inbreed does too.

twistedlogic04, your posts match your username. This song is unique and I praise LS for coming out with a song like this (and Luke for producing it). And with the comment that only imbred whatevers listening to what LS says in her song, you'd honesltyrather hear another female rap song like "look how much jewlery i gots, mah pants on mah ass look hot, etc, etc"? I agree with Lukes statement on how it's "about time" a song like this would hit the radio. You are a PRIME example of who she is talking about in her songs, lol! The people who think she is grosss and nasty for saying all that stuff.

Did a song with this kid Jibbs (he is my good friends brother), Lanz (on Universal), and a few others that are up in the air.... I like many kinds of music so I keep an open mind... -L

For you to say I'm close minded because I am completely opposed to this song is absurd. And saying that my missuse of "inbred" would mean I am likely from an inbred state or inbred myself is moronic. Your post made me LOL! twistedlogic04, your posts match your username. The people who think she is grosss and nasty for saying all that stuff. Yes, I would rather listen to someone rap/sing about "look how much jewlery i gots, mah pants on mah ass look hot, etc, etc". My mention of inbred's is in relation to her burping and saying she has hairy armpits, I didn't say only inbred people would listen to it. I honestly couldn't give a shit that I am "a PRIME example of who she is talking about in her songs, lol!" So fuckin what? I do think she's gross and nasty for saying shit like that. And if she wants to say "fuck you" to me, WHATEVER. I appreciate and am only involved in less-disqusting "music." You talk like this is the most creative and daring song, no way. 2 1 JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE Sexyback 9989 9391 598 75.074 4 4 PANIC! As much as I love Panic! at the Disco.... creative and daring? Not nearly. Same with John Mayer, especially with that Gym Class Heroes drivel.
You're obviously entitled to your opinion, but don't have such an off-putting tone. I actually sort of agree with you, but with that tone you're not gonna have many supporters, it's a turn off.

Panic! was definately daring, not often you hear a song on CHR/POP with a chorus that says "god damn." Creative, I'd say so. John Mayer not so daring, but suprise suprise he's charting with a song they wern't thinking would even hit at other formats, of course we knew it would though.
I mean, what's gonna be creative and daring for Lady Sovereign to sing about next? Having a pink pussy and having sex with a horse while getting drunk of pink lemonaide?

luke, you produced this? really cool.
it's interesting, but I like it. when I was in Tampa last weekend I heard it a lot on FLZ, which surprised me since I thought there was no way this would get U.S. airplay.
looking forward to it. it's got to be way better than "Chain Hang Low"...

Twisted, with as nasty and as gross as you claim her to be, you're an awfully big hypocrite with all that vulgarity. Grow up

At The Disco was daring. The other portion is obviously asking how daring Lady Sovereign is gonna be next? She obviously has to top this HUGELY daring song with hairy armpits and actually burping on the track.

I think I'm with twisted on this one. I hate the newest trend that whatever is the most "bold" and "daring" is the most popular. This is "hot" only to the extent that "London Bridge" or "Hollaback Girl" was "hot" - I don't see how making "bold" statements makes the song "fun" and "creative". So if I (assuming I could sing, and using beats with a similar style to this song) produced a song that talked about crossdressing and raping my sister, it'd be "brilliant"? Um, okay.

Not one person has claimed the song is brilliant because of the burping or hairy arm pits lines.

The entire song is unique is a TOTALLY different argument than "hairy arm pits and burping make it unique" come on people. You're all skipping logical steps

This song reminds me a lot of Verbalicious' "New Kid", same flow, same subject content, kind of same voice. Hmmm.

The one-of-a-kind beat? The F word? The talky/singy voice? Or is it her trashy image? No, I think all of the above have been done.

It's her flow man. No one out there raps like she does. If you don't believe me, ask Jay-Z

Not sure if this is true, but I just heard this song on the radio and I think they edited the part in the chorus when she says "Thank You". It seems they rerecorded that part and annunciated the "Thank" a bit more....I can see why, also...the first time I heard the song, I thought she was actually saying "f**k you" during the first part of the chorus, but then the next part was bleeped out, i was wondering what curse word was worse than fuck, lol. ???
