This was my favorite song form their platinum self titled debut album! I love this song. Its very poppy and fun. I love the way the verses are slow and smoothe and then it speeds up at the "i do" part. Left Eye rapped on the video version along with Natima. Lefteyes verse was really good. Anyone know where this charted?

I liked it... until I began to realize how bland it is.

Much better than their song before it.
Casey did a story a couple of years ago on how the title "I Do" has hit the Top 40 like 5 years in a row.

I like it, but I prefer the Trackmasters 2000 mix by a mile.

I like it; it had a nostalgic Motown vibe to it.

Casey did a story a couple of years ago on how the title "I Do" has hit the Top 40 like 5 years in a row. I remember. He mentioned it with 3LW's "I Do (Wanna Get Close To You)", speaking about Toya's "I Do" and 98 Degrees's "I Do (Cherish You)". I was bummed that this didn't hold through and happen on 2003 or 2004. :( :'(

And didn't he mention Lisa Loeb's "I Do"?

The video looked more like some Old Navy commercial. I wasn't crazy about this.

I didn't hear this much. Their other song (As If) was getting played more when I started getting into music.

I like the original, but it was definitely too poppy. It sounded like a record that should have gone to the Spice Girls. I thought "Roll with Me" should have been the third single from their album.

Much better than their song before it. Casey did a story a couple of years ago on how the title "I Do" has hit the Top 40 like 5 years in a row. In the last couple years on the Hot AC chart, there was also "I Do" by Colbie Caillat.

The album version was boring as hell...but the remix (She Ain't Got That Boom Like) I Do was EVERYTHING!!!!!
Also "Bring it All To Me," "As If," "Can't Get It Back" and "I'm Good" were also great. I'm sad a longer career never worked for them. I found the leaked version of their second album online many years ago and it was miles better than the first.

I like this a lot, especially the juxtaposition of the slow-jam verses and the throwback girl group chorus, it works surprisingly well.
The Trackmasters remix was just as good (possibly better). The vocals were very SWV.

Has that same 60s pop sound like Spice Girls "Stop".

I barely remember this song. However I agree with a few others I prefer the Trackmasters remix. I liked some of their stuff. โAs If and Iโm Goodโ were probably my favorites. I just looked them up and either forgot or had no clue they had two other albums after their debutโฆ.. Definitely going to check them out.
