One of my favorite songs from Oasis, I was really addicted to this when I was younger and I still love it today. It only peaked at #32 on CHR/Pop, a disappointment compared to their first two, "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova" which both peaked at #9.

My absolute favorite Oasis song. I was shocked when it peaked so low.

Good, but not as good as the two previous singles.

Great song! Brings back memories of the fall of 1996. I have it taped off off the Rick Dees Weekly Top 40. I've liked all of Oasis's hits. :)

This is my favorite from Oasis. It should have done much better!

I like it a lot, also my favorite Oasis. I think it just didn't do better because people were getting burned out.

Every time this song starts, I think it's "Imagine" even though I've heard both a million times. LOL!
I like this a lot, but not as much as "Wonderwall" and especially not as much as "Champagne Supernova".

Yeah, Oasis was putting out songs pretty rapid fire during this time. This song clearly could have done better if (as halo mentioned) people weren't getting burned out. I really like it.
("Champagne Supernova" is IMO one of the best tracks of the 1990s.)

Oasis was huge back when I was in the 6th/7th grade...lol...I remember that well...the whole "Wonderwall" phenomenon. I liked Wonderwall and Champage alot better...I dont even really remember how 'Anger' goes, just barely...
Wonderwall and Champage only peaked at #9 on Pop?? Well Im especially more surprised at Wonderwall...I would think that song was one of the biggest hits of the year on Pop, and at least going #1 or if not Top 3 or 5 for sure, not barely Top 10

I like it, and I hear it occasionally, which is refreshing.
The three Morning Glory hits were classics, but my favorite Oasis song has to be "The Hindu Times", from Heathen Chemistry in 2002. I was lucky to be one of the only ones to hear it on the radio. The album may not have been their most critically acclaimed, but come on, zero singles from that album released in the US? That has to be one of the biggest record company blunders of all time. What a way to stop their career dead in its tracks. That and leading a comeback with a bland single like "Lyla" on the next album in the midst of all these 90's bands coming back and acheiving a much more significant impact.

'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' was the only single issued here. From what I remember, it stalled somewhere in the mid-50's. What station did you hear 'Hindu Times' on? I remember WBTZ had it in pretty heavy rotation in May/June '02 when the album was first released.

CIMX in Detroit was the station that jumped on "Hindu Times". This was well before its album was released, and later on I remember one of the jocks saying in a phone conversation with a listener that they were actually one of the only radio stations that even play that song. I don't remember it ever escaping the 70's on Mediabase and I don't recall there being any more than 5 stations on the format leaders list at any time.

I remember them doing the same with "This Is How You Remind Me".

Every time this song starts, I think it's "Imagine" even though I've heard both a million times. LOL! The beginning also sounds like "Leaving 99" by Audio Adrenaline. I think it's more than just coincidence that both songs spent multiple weeks atop my Personal Top 30 chart. Who knows, had I been alive and making a personal chart back in 1971, "Imagine" might have done the same!

No, I'm a lady. Weren't you here the other day when I finally revealed that secret that I've been hiding for 35 years? No, seriously, it was for April Fool's, when I was under a different name. I just forgot to change my gender back to "male" (the same thing happened last year, LOL!)

I love this song. It's a clear homage (rip off?) to the Beatles, but it's magical regardless.
