~NRG~, in several of these old song threads, you mention the US Music Survey. Were these all played this week as the "flashback" feature?

''I Want It That Way Part II'' is not that bad... The video was crap though...

Both song and video were so bland. BSB had quite an array of solid ballads (Quit Playing Games, Show Me the Meaning...) but Shape of My Heart is definitely not one of them.

The Backstreet Boys were the featured spotlight artist this week on the US Music Survey. What about the other two songs ("By The Time This Night Is Over" by Kenny G f/Peabo Bryson and "Someday" by All-4-One)? Are they back to using a weird arrangement of years for Flashbacks, like they did back about ten years ago? For at least two years, when the show was still "Countdown America", the years they used were ten, five and one year ago (using fifteen years every once in awhile, then, when another stations picked up on it in April, 1995, it was 13, 9, 5, and one year ago. Then, a month later, they changed to 9, 6, 3 and one year ago. I know that for sometime, it was back to 15, 10, 5 and 1. What is it now? (I'm assuming that it's 12, 9, 6, 3 and 1).

Wasn't this video blue or something? I remember it got more "please don't play Nu BSB" calls than request calls @ Z 95.7 back when it was released. The DJ said something about that.
I really liked it. It grew on me like inches!

I loved it. Peaked at #1 on my personal chart for 2 weeks in January 2001.

This track is another that shows the severe limitations Max Martin had (has?) as a producer.
Completely forgettable.

You always say things about him and how his songs sound the same and suck and are forgettable....people will probably forget this one but they won't forget songs like BOMT and OIDIA!

This used to be my favorite cheese-fest BSB song until "Drowning" came along. I remember when SOMH premiered on radio, the radio station would make a huge fuss about it like having a countdown to the time the song would be played - it grew to be annoying eventually but I still liked the song

I remember the old R&R boards, the posters sure lambasted this song. And now, more people have said good things about the song than bad. Go figure!!!

My favorite Backstreet Boys song ever. I still occasionally listen to it to this very day with no shame.

I like it but I didn't like it as the first single from Black & Blue... the should have gone with More Than That if they wanted a ballad first or maybe with the ignored hit from that album... Get Another Boyfriend
