Released in late 2000, "Silly Ho" was a radio promo for TLC's upcoming album FanMail. Wasn't this song jammin? Although my sister thought the horn sound got a little tiring. All this song needed was a rap from Left Eye. Instead, we got of a taste of Virtual Vic-E! Whoot! Whoot! Whoot Whoot!

I don't understand why they waited until the song peaked before they released the album. The song alright- something to grind to though.

I loved this too. Was it just a 'promo' or was it released and flopped? Fanmail was a great album...my favorite track was "My Life"

I liked this a lot. My friend got me onto KGGI Riverside and they played this one early. Then "No Scrubs" took off. I actually bought "Fanmail" but then I sold it for $5 to buy a Furby.

I LOVE this. I love every track on Fanmail. To me that is TLC's best album, which is saying a LOT since I also love CrazySexyCool so much. "Silly Ho" is really a fun song... I wish I was old enough to go to clubs and stuff when it came out b/c it would have been a fun song to hear there. I was too young though

This one was good, but then again... their whole album was good. :)

This one was good, but then again... their whole album was good. :) I agree, it's not one of my favourites from the album just because it's such a strong album. Either Unpretty or I'm Good At Being Bad is my favourite.

I love it, it's one of my favorites songs from that album but never understand why that Virtual Vic-E character was on it, when Lisa was in the group.

I hate it. Definitely on the lower end of the spectrum as far as their singles go.

I believe this received evening airplay when this was out. I prefer this over "No Scrubs".

This was an airplay only promo single. "No Scrubs" was the official lead single. I still jam to this one of my favorite TLC singles.

Wasn't this in the talks of being the lead single from "FANMAIL"? I do remember hearing that way back when, probably b/c it was gaining airplay.
Bangin' track. Aged pretty well.

I really loved this. It's one of the many highlights of the Fanmail album. Wasn't this in the talks of being the lead single from "FANMAIL"? I do remember hearing that way back when, probably b/c it was gaining airplay. Bangin' track. Aged pretty well. This did get a 12" vinyl release, but it was just a buzz/promo single. My local stations played this a lot.

I really like this. I also agree that it has held up okay considering the era it was released in.
