This jam from 1996 off of Chaka's Epiphany greatest hits, with Me'shell NdegeOcello, was her last hit. It had a great groove and was one of her most energetic tracks in awhile, reminiscent of her early solo tracks. Chaka's vocals are on fire as always. I love Me'shell too and her rapping/spoken word parts here are great.
It was a #1 club smash and a #36 R&B hit.

AbsolutelyGREAT song. I played the maxi so much that I can't play it anymore.. the disc is scratched...
Brilliant original, and great remixes!
Love it!

I liked "Love you all my lifetime" better, but it was still a good track.

JAM! I had never heard it until I got "Epiphany" last year.

Loved the song. It was really good. Especially the Frankie Knuckles remix. I finally got a copy of this single (had been searching for it since it originally came out). It was totally worth the wait.

Excellent song. This song sounded so contemporary and fresh and is a joy to listen to.
