A top ten hit from 1991, this hit, along with Jesus Jones' "Right Here, Right Now", provided the perfect soundtrack for the fall of communism throughout Europe. While I'm not overly crazy about the song itself, everytime I hear it, I do pause to reflect on those historic events that I saw before my eyes on TV, like the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Not my favorite Scorps song, but it's a great song nonetheless.

I like it when Shadoe Stevens did a medley of songs with whistling in them before introducing this song.

I like it when Shadoe Stevens did a medley of songs with whistling in them before introducing this song. You sure that it was this song? I remember him doing a whistling medley to tie in with "Joyride" by Roxette, but I don't remember him doing one with this song, and it seems it would be a bit redundant for him to do such a medley twice during the same year.

I also seem to remember the medley being done for Joyride.

Good song. Nice to see someone pay tribute to the fall of Communism.

I hear a 5-second clip of this song on the "Monster Ballads" TV ad ALL the time. In fact, I could probably sing the medley of different songs all the way through.

They've had better songs, but I like this smash monster ballad too.

Good song. Nice to see someone pay tribute to the fall of Communism. And one day, someone will do a song paying tribute to the fall of Capitalism. Stay tuned.

I think the title was "Wind" not "Winds."

Gorgeous record. Their follow-up "Send Me an Angel" was great, too.
