Absolute classic. I wish they would have performed something OTHER than "Roxanne" at the Grammies. :(

You are so right. This would have been better.

Absolute classic. I wish they would have performed something OTHER than "Roxanne" at the Grammies. :( I agree completely. This and 'Ghost In The Machine' were my favorite Police albums. I never much liked Roxanne, and I hated that dodo dada song (I forget which album that was, but I don't think I liked anything on it very much).

I hated that dodo dada song (I forget which album that was, but I don't think I liked anything on it very much). I think that was Zenyatta Mondatta. This song used to freak me out, with the "many miles away" parts about the creepy thing coming out of the loch. I didn't realize until later that it was just a metaphor that tied into the crumbling family life in the rest of the song.

Probably my favorite song by the Policemen. It hit number 9 on the Radio and Records chart.

lol @ the Policemen.
Although this isn't one of my favorites, I enjoy it when it comes on. I hear it often on our Bob FM station.

I normally don't appreciate songs about "kicks in the crotch" due to childhood trauma, but I've always loved this song. Sting sound great and this song rocks.
