I love this one. Actually their unplugged material is probably my favorite by them. Both this and "About a Girl" hit #2 and #1 respectively on my chart back in 1995.

It was cool for a while, but I prefer the original.

An excellent live recording. I have both Nirvana's MTV Unplugged CD as well as XXII MCMXCIV, another album of live recordings. "The Man Who Sold The World" is actually on both albums and sounds amazing...in fact, it wasn't until a few years ago that I heard the Bowie original which, in my opinion, is even better.
I recommend these albums to anyone who's a fan of many of Nirvana's album tracks as well as their biggest hits...iceboy's right, these guys sound incredible live.

Lulu did a good rendition of this song in the 80's...

One of the best cover songs I've heard.. that Unplugged album was one of the best unplugged ones that I've heard. Something tells me that had I grown up 10 years ago, this would have been a personal chart #1, and I actually like it more than that version of "About A Girl", although both songs are great. After this, they released another cover from that album: Meat Puppets' "Lake Of Fire".

Loved it. I loved everything Nirvana ever has done though. This is one of the best band ever bar none.

Rock radio's overration of this band has left me unable to listen to just about every one of Nirvana's singles, but not this one; I love it. This is the only band I can think of where my favorite single is a cover.
