Do you remember the 1988 Top 40 hit for Times Two called "Strange But True"? Z-95 listed this British group on their STREET SHEET PLAYLIST as "X2".

This was a great song. They followed it up with their remake of "Cecilia", which was originally sung by Simon & Garfunkel.

As a matter of fact both of them are from California. At the same time their sound is a bit European. As for the record I never liked it, but I certainly like "Set Me Free" which only charted briefly on the R&B charts in the summer of 1990.
