Three big jumps(JoJo, Ne-Yo, and Nickelback), and one BIG drop(Paris Hilton). And Rascal Flatts makes it on here. Hopefully the new Evanescence song will be on here soon.

Ok this chart makes no sense, Why are Tempreture and Natasha still on? And someone please take Hips Don't Lie the Heck off. No offense I hate that song.
Sexy Back has been at the top 3 on Mediabase and BDS for about five weeks now , why the heck is it now only getting into Ryans Top 10? Okay I will amit some songs should stay on the charts. Stickwitu has been on PT40 for 11 months, but please no more Hip's Don't Lie. This chart makes no sense.
When Casey did it it was fine, but Ryan's sistem of doing it makes no sense, We need Hinder, We Ride by, Rihanna, and Get Up Ciara on this chart. I MISS CASEY.

Kelly needs to fall off also. Evidently, Ryan can't have a chart without Kelly.

None of the "top 40" countdown shows match any of the printed charts anymore, hopefully that will change. I do listen to Rick Dees top 40 for the entertainment, even though I disagree with some of the show's chart rankings.

Looks like they're back to being only one week behind, since this chart is closer to the August 25 chart than it is to the August 18 chart, which accounts for the unusually large chart jumps (besides the ones Johnser mentioned, we also have Sean Paul and E-40/T-Pain/Kandi Girl, which move up twelve and ten spots, respectively). Also, Red Hot Chili Peppers manage to move up a little more than they have over the past three weeks.
The chart, however, still is a little behind, since some of the songs that are dropping on the charts aren't quite as far down as they are on the August 25 chart. "Stars Are Blind" is a good example. It drops from 16 to 36 on the chart and if the chart was in synch with last week's R&R chart (yes, I know that R&R no longer goes by Mediabase, but it's pretty close, I'm sure), the song would have fallen off this week, with all the recurrents on the AT40 chart. Also, Jessica Simpson's "A Public Affair" would have been further down the chart than #30.
The fact that the chart isn't quite up to date also explains why songs like "Lips Of An Angel", "Hangin' On", and "Chasing Cars" aren't yet on the chart. Perhaps they'll make an appearance next week. Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton should be gone by then, although, this depends on whether or not the chart being only one week behind is just a fluke or only a one-time thing. I wouldn't be surprised to see them once again being two weeks behind next week.
I have no idea where PT40 got his chart info, but it can't be Mediabase or BDS. This chart actually does make sense. If you want to see a chart that doesn't make sense, check out the Rick Dees chart topics. That chart seems to be figured using a dartboard.

hey there shoocoochoocoo, why are you putting down PT40? Maybe he read the info wrong, or mis understood it? You don't have to put someone down just because they make a mistake. I wouln't say he was speading false info.
And I don't know if he listens to Ryan or not, but I myself think Ryan is to not up to date with his charts. So please do put people down who don't deserve it.

It sounded like a new feature this week. For "We Belong Together," it was a phone call from a listener. I guess you can call the AT40 hotline for a request instead of just emailing it.

It's Labor weekend & no guest host, kinda of letdown. This week's buring question will Marky Mark ever get married and this is a MUSIC countdown show. Of course, he had to make the comment about Mark's body looking like he's 26, podcasting now available & a new member of Seacrest's Hump Island. I heard no questions about a possible reunion with Loleatta Holloway or what happened to the Funky Bunch. The scoreboard: 47 songs, personality 0 It's the begining of the college football season

Natasha needs to FALL THE HELL OFF! With all of its weeks in the Top 40, it might end up as the #1 song of 2006.
