The grandsons of Ozzie and Harriet and the Sons of Ricky took this one into the top five in 1990.
This is a very catchy pop-rock song that was I think ridiculed so much just because of the way these guys looked. Underrated song.
I thought it was clever how the song started with the lyrics "Here she comes" and towards the end of the song, it was "There she goes"

Great song! I really loved the video for it, especially at the end where the film is reversed.
Trivia: the song was inspired by Cindy Crawford.

Great pop-metal song! I think "After The Rain," their follow-up, was great as well. I remember buying the Nelson album with those two songs on it the same day that I bought the first Christina Aguilera album on the first day that latter album came out.

I like this song. It's one of few hair band songs that I do like.

I liked the song too, though "After the Rain" was the better song. I thought Matthew and Gunnar got a bad rap just because of their hair.

Yep, I love this song too, a little more than ATR. I thought the video was funny, one of the twins had an angry look on his face and the other was smiling a lot. kinda like one got Ricky's happy genes and the other, his angry ones.

· Both Casey and Shadoe did a story on how the boys were tricked into going to the dentist, when actually their parents were taking them to meet the Pointer Sisters.
· Nelson hosted AT40 in early 1991.
· On the first of second week of CT40, the second verse was edited out.

Nelson hosted AT40 in early 1991. I remember that! I liked this and "After The Rain" at the time, though I don't think I still would if I listened to them today. "Only Time Will Tell" was their third single. That peaked around just inside the top 20 on R&R I believe. Nowhere near as big as the first two.

Actually, there was a song called "More Than Ever" that came between "After The Rain" and "Only Time Will Tell". I remember my pop station played "More Than Ever" to death and then totally ignored the follow up.

I remember my pop station played "More Than Ever" to death and then totally ignored the follow up. Ah, you're absolutely right... how could I forget that one?! " Do I... do I need you baby? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, more then ever" I was thinking that I remembered hearing "Love And Affection", "After The Rain", and "Only Time Will Tell" on AT40. Now that I look back on it, I actually heard "After The Rain", "More Than Ever", and "Only Time Will Tell" on AT40. "Love and Affection" was before I started following the charts. I must have heard that one as a recurrent on Eagle 106 or something. Nelson also had a top 40 hit in 1995 with "All Shook Up", which is a song I just barely remember.

This was the top song of 1990 on U93. I like the song, as well as all the others that have been mentioned here. My favorite of the three is "Only Time Will Tell" with "(You Got Me) All Shook Up" being a very close second.

Trivia: the song was inspired by Cindy Crawford. Isn't she the chick with a ladybug on her face?

I'm not gonna lie - I LOVE this song. Though I actually prefer "After The Rain".
