One of my personal favorites from the "Rock 40" era... got a ton of play here locally in L.A... even KIIS FM played it along with "Pirate Radio" of course...
It got to #33 on Billboard's Hot 100 and the album went Gold on the strength of this single... I still love to hear this one...

This was one hell of a power ballad . Seems like 1990 was THE year for great power ballads , This , High Enough , I'll See You In My Dreams ... I love all of them . The lyrcis were about Jayne Mansfield if I recall correctly , there was another song about another starlet from the 1950/60s "Edie (Ciao Baby)" by The Cult which was even better than this IMO.

Yeah, 1990 for sure was a great power ballad year... and these guys were local (yeah, the name's a bit of a giveaway). :)
I was big into HE and ISYIMD too... liked "Edie" too, though I was more into "Fire Woman" as far as Cult songs go...

Many of the so-called Rock40 groups were from L.A. which somehow became a GlamMetal mecca after Poison , Mötley Crüe and Guns N Roses hit it big in the late 80s.

I like this song. I never hear it anymore. I also liked their upbeat hit, "Never Enough"

^^^ I hear it every once in a while on our JACK station...
"Never Alone" was good to, I think that one went top 30 in R&R...

I vaguely remember this. I think it was a Billboard-only hit. Never made the Top 40 in R&R.

I LOVE this song. I've heard a couple of other songs from L.A. Guns, but none of them were as amazing as this IMO.
Before this song was out, Axl Rose used to be in this band. POP FACT!
