I believe this was one of the last hits by Roxette to make the Top 40 ("Sleeping In My Car" came afterward). But it was OK. I'm sorry it didn't do better. Roxette seemed like such a nice duo.

Yeah, this song definitely bombed. It was clear that Roxette's day in the sun was 1989-1991, with four number one songs (three on R&R, as "Joyride" just barely fell short). After "Fading Like A Flower", they quickly lost popularity. If my memory serves me correctly, their next hit after "Spending My Time" was their only song besides "Dressed For Success" to fail to reach the top ten. And after that, every successive song of theirs missed the Top Ten.

Not bad. They had a dance song that spent one week on AT20-AC back in October of 2000, but the title escapes my memory.

Only Wish I Could Fly (i believe) was given any US airplay but it was a ballad (although there were dance mixes). Stars was a full-on dance track but I don't believe it was given a single release in the US. Roxette is my favorite group and "How Do You Do" is one of their catchiest upbeat tracks. I give credit to EMI for releasing this, but after the label problems in the US at the time, it's such a shame that Roxette got the short end of the stick.

AT20 played it twice. Once when it debuted at #20, and then again when it made the year-end Top 60.
