1974...my birth year! Cartman, do you the dates it was #1? I'm a November baby. If I remember correctly the tune peaked #1 in July of that year.

Rock Your Baby was #1 for 2 weeks on the Hot 100 in 1974 for the Artist that was once rumoured to have died in 1986 but didn't Yeah, I guess some people confused him with Gordon MacRae, an actor who died in January, 1986. I remember an AT40 show when they did a Flashback to 1974 and "Rock Your Baby" was number one. Shadoe Stevens told the story about how some sources said that George was dead, while others insist that he's very much alive. This was on a show in July, 1989, I believe.

Yeah, I think this was the biggest selling single of the 1970s. Yep according to AT40 this was the biggest selling single of the 1970s. I added this to my Ipod a couple weeks ago after heard the story on an old AT40 show.
