#25 Billboard R&B This song entered the "Hot Black Singles" chart in October of 1984 and peaked in early 1985 with a total of 21 weeks on the entire chart. Hearing and seeing the video on BET was the very first time that I have ever heard of the name "Pennye Ford". As I undertstand, she replaced Mary Davis before the SOS Band called it quits completely. Then thereafter she became a member of Snap, and after that went solo once again in 1993. I will never ever forget this song as long as I live, because my ex-girlfriend way back in elementary school sang this to me and I loved her so! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ef0Zz-P7VY8
