Do you remember the 1971 novelty record by P-Nut Gallery called "Do You Know What Time It Is" which was a tribute record to the 1950's Howdy Doody Show (which at the time was getting a revival on a tour of college campuses with Buffalo Bob Smith doing hosting duties for the grown up college aged kids!)? It made the Top 10 on WLS Chicago but only made the mid 60's on Billboard Hot 100.

It was released as a single under the name Flying Giraffe. There's a really neat in-depth piece about the song here: philxmilstein.com/probe/pix/HowdyDoody.htm.
