She was one of the original members of mega group ABBA. She embarked on a solo career after the members of ABBA went their separate ways. "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" was the second single off of the album of the same name. It peaked number one in Belgium and charted in the top 20, 30 and 40 in various other countries. This song has been considered by many as being the one to usher in the "Morning Music" era at the legendary New York club The Saint. Watch and listen to the song here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlqWPKosSMY
I recently re-discovered this one through a re-edit a friend did at another message board. I fell in love with it all over again. Highly underrated classic from the post-Disco era.

Hmmm. I don't think I'd call it underrated. Probably gets about the attention it deserves. It's good, but I really wouldn't call it one of her shining moments either. I think "I Won't Let You Go" is the real underrated gem from her solo singles. That one is awesome, but so many tend to just write it off.

Much better than the hideous 'The Heat Is On' at any rate.
But solo Agnetha was disappointing. Frida was much more interesting away from the group.
